Gary & Cheryl Carter 
SINGLE ADULT MINISTRY DIRECTOR
​Gary and Cheryl Carter have a passion to impact the lives of single adults that comes from living life as a single adult themselves.  Bro. Carter as a single dad for 10 years after the sudden passing of his first wife and Sis. Carter as a never-married single until age 45.

​Cheryl Carter has served as the Texas District Single Adult Ministry Director for 19 years.  She is the founder and director of Texas Singles Conference.  She also currently serves as the UPCI Single Adult Ministry Secretary. One of her favorite things is to plan  events/trips for singles. The Carters' heartbeat is for SAM to be a strong and viable ministry. They travel full-time ministering and are available to help local churches in the Texas District and beyond with this ministry.
